Beautiful, especially the mood of the muted colours! I never got the hang of watercolour myself, so I am all the more impressed! :+favlove:

Its one of the best watercolors i have ever seen. The lighting is perfect and the contrast between the coloured and white is really in balance. Besides these technical aspects i think the subjects expression is really well done and interesting for the viewer. I read above that you are proud of this because you knew when to stop and I couldnt agree more with that. Its perfect the way it is

i love watercolor, you have done a great job in not trying to control the medium too much, from what i can see, and the result is spontaneous and free flowing, I really like that in this piece

I don't understand your title, but this is an absolutely beautiful work beautiful tonal range and texture... the light on the lips is just exquisite. any insight into the name of the piece? I mean, I know what the works mean, but I don't understand it's realtion to the portrait, and I'm very curious.

Wow, amazing! I love your use of watercolor. The choice of colors and the pose alone give alot of emotion, but the style and technique you used expresses so much more. I love watercolor and pieces like this are why. ;) +fav

This is a great picture. I love your use of shading, its very dramatic and gives such a great emotion to the face. The expression itself is interesting as well in that it conveys a kaleidoscope of emotions all at the same time, which is something I really enjoy creating in my own artwork. I admire your ability to create a piece like this in watercolor. I've always had difficulty with the medium, and it never ceases to frustrate me when I try using it.
